Trainee/Junior Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Trainee/Junior Manual QA Engineer who is passionate about software quality and eager to develop their testing skills in real projects. You will work closely with experienced QA Engineers, developers, and project teams to ensure product quality through manual testing, defect reporting, and test documentation.
Project description: The role involves working on the web project: an internal company website with a strong focus on UI/UX quality, usability, and visual consistency.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web applications according to project requirements
- Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and other test documentation
- Execute test cases and report defects clearly and accurately
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing
- Collaborate with team members: developers, designers and project managers
- Write & maintain test documentation
Requirements
- English level: Intermediate (B1+) or higher
- Good understanding of software testing fundamentals:
- QA and QC concepts
- SDLC and STLC
- testing principles
- test types and testing levels
- Basic knowledge of test design techniques (e.g., Equivalence Partitioning, Boundary Value Analysis, State Transition Testing)
- Experience creating test cases and checklists
- Ability to identify, document, and track defects
- Experience working with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Basic understanding of web technologies and client-server architecture (HTTP requests, methods, responses)
Nice to Have
- 6+ months of commercial experience in Manual QA
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or preparation for certification
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
- Work with Test Management system TestRail
- Completed internship program or QA courses
